General Information

Dr. Wilkinson was born in Santa Monica and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he was elected to membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Honorary Dental Society. He then served two years in the United States Air Force as a captain in the dental corps. After eight years of general dental practice, Dr. Wilkinson attended the Veterans Administration Hospital at Long Beach for a two year residency in endodontics. Upon attaining his certificate in endodontics, he set up a practice limited to endodontics in Saddleback Valley. 

Dr. Wilkinson is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has served as president of the Southern California Academy of Endodontics and president of the California State Association of Endodontists. He has also served on the board of directors of the American Association of Endodontists for three years and has taught endodontics in the post graduate endodontics program at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry as an Associate Clinical Professor.

Dr. Wilkinson’s recreational activities include surfing, windsurfing, skiing and snowboarding.
 

Dr. McNicholas was born and raised in Southern California.  He attended college at the University of Redlands and dental school at the University of Southern California.  He completed a General Practice Residency at Loma Linda University and returned to Loma Linda to earn his Master's Degree in Endodontics. 

Dr. McNicholas is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists and has served as president of the Southern California Academy of Endodontics as well as president of the California State Association of Endodontists.  He has also served as chairman of the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee for the American Association of Endodontists and has been involved with teaching the post-graduate endodontic residents at Loma Linda University.

Steve's hobbies included 4 wheel drive and off roading and enjoys exploring the country with his wife and kids in a motorhome.

Dr. Werksman was born and raised in Orange County.  She attended UCLA as an undergraduate and went on to graduate from the UCLA School of Dentistry.  After dental school she completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Francisco.  She later completed her Endodontic residency at the Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Werksman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. 

Dr. Werksman has lived in Los Angeles since 1981 where she currently resides with her husband and three children.

Dr. Jonsson was born in the Bay Area and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He studied medical biology at the University of Utah and graduated from UOP Dental School in San Francisco. During dental school he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Tau Kappa Omega Honorary Dental Societies.  After dental school he practiced general dentistry for two years in the Bay Area and Orange County.  He then moved to Chicago for his endodontic residency and completed his specialty training at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Dr Jonsson has taught endodontics to dental students as a preclinical instructor at UOP and clinical instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Jonsson enjoys surfing, skiing, backpacking, and travelling.

Kim is currently the office manager for the practice. She started as a dental assistant with Dr. Wilkinson in March of 1988. (Just yesterday!!). She has been in dentistry since 1981 and has always enjoyed working in an endodontic practice. She has seen our practice grow from a one-doctor practice to its present 4 doctor status, and has transitioned with us from being a non-computerized to fully digitalized and paperless office. She lives in Rancho Santa Margarita with her son, Parker. In her spare time she enjoys going to the movies, playing cribbage on-line, reading and traveling. (especially to TDO meetings)

Andrea is the front office administrative assistant and has worked in our office since 1998. She assists patients in scheduling appointments, handling insurance matters and making financial arrangements. Andrea has two daughters, she loves cooking big Italian meals for her family. She is an active member at Saddleback Church. In her spare time she volunteers at an assisted living facility. She enjoys caring for people and also has a very creative and artistic side.

Victoria has been a dental assistant with the practice since 1999. She assists chairside and is also in charge of ordering the office supplies. She enjoys interaction with the patients and making them feel at ease. She was born and raised in Southern California. Victoria resides in Lake Forest with her husband and two rescued dogs. She will also be adding to her family in December 2008- a baby girl.  On the weekends you can find her relaxing with family and friends next to a poolside or fixing up their condo.

Janie has been a dental assistant with the practice since 1997.  She is a hard worker and enjoys assisting with all 4 of our doctors. Janie lives in Mission Viejo with her husband , son and daughter. Her eldest son has twins, so in her spare time you might find her babysitting. Her hobbies include horse back riding, roller skating and playing with her 8 pets! Janie enjoys being outdoors at the beach with a good book. She is an active member with her church.

Desarie has been a dental assistant with the practice since 2004. She lives in Montclair and commutes daily to Laguna Hills. She resiedes with her parents and has 2 younger sisters. Desarie attends Chaffey College and is working towards her Bachelor of Arts degree. On the weekends she enjoys being with her friends or having family Bar-B-Q's. Desarie has an adventurous side also and likes to try new things and visit new places.

Sharon has been a dental assistant with the practice since 2006.  She first became a dental assistant when she graduated from High School, but then took time off to raise her son and daughter who are now in college. She also has one grandson. Sharon was raised in Southern California and currently resides in Mission Viejo. In her spare time you will find her at the stables riding her horses or playing with her 3 dogs.

Marianne has been a dental assistant with the practice since 1985. She worked with Dr Wilkinson when he first started the practice. She left for a short time and returned in 1991, when Dr. McNicholas joined. Marianne always has a kind word and smile for all of our patients.  She lives in Newport Beach with her husband , son and a wide arrange of pets. On the weekends you might find Marianne and son cheering at the race track. Her husband is a Junior Fuel Dragster race car driver. She also has a passion for baking. Her desserts are incredible and each staff member gets a goodie on their birthday and during the holidays.

Amy has been a dental assistant with the practice since 1999. She currently works part-time in our office and enjoys being a Mom the rest of the week. She lives in Laguna Niguel with her husband and son. In her spare time you might find her walking her dog at the beach or going to Disneyland with her family.
